Girls Golf Club - Collier Park

The Smarter than Smoking Girls Golf Club at Collier Park has begun with 10 girls joining the club. A fantastic effort from ALPG Professional Emma Stewart in recruiting the girls for the programme and GMJGF membership. The foundation wishes the girls every success with their golf.

Smarter than Smoking News

"Good News" The prevelence of smoking among students aged 12 to 17 years decreased between 1984 and 2005 significantly. The decline has been particularly sharp since 1999, with the prevalence of current smoking amongst the total sample of 12 to 17 year-old school children, falling from 17% in 1999 to 10% in 2002 and 6% in 2005. A Healthways report.
